Painting schools, an ice rink, skating courses, painting of streets and sidewalks, traveling buses in various settlements in the municipality, activities in the children’s library, activities in the home for the elderly were financed. An international intergenerational day was organized.

Interreg Europe – ERUDITE project (Enhancing Rural and Urban Digital Innovation Territories)
The goal of the project is to upgrade the past partner cooperation in the development and construction of broadband infrastructure in rural areas, with the aim of including as many different stakeholders and residents as possible in the currents of the modern information society. In order to take full advantage of the potential provided by established networks, it is necessary to plan and implement new and innovative services that will serve the public and business interests of local communities and thus justify prior investments in infrastructure.
The project promoted the needs of local communities and various ideas related to new digital services through processes of open innovation and by taking into account socio-economic benefits and involving the widest range of stakeholders. With the direct participation of decision-making policies at the national, regional and local communities, proposals for new digital services are included in various recommendations, concrete action plans and future development programs.

Interreg IVC - SIVA project (Improving the accessibility of broadband services)
The goal of the project is to contribute to the improvement of ICT accessibility in the area of South-Eastern Europe with the help of broadband services that serve as an alternative and complement to classic services – those that cannot be implemented remotely. With this, the project helped to reduce the digital divide in the mentioned area. Access to information, broadband connectivity and financing of virtual accessibility are key to the development, implementation and use of ICT in the economy and society in general. Unevenly developed telecommunications infrastructure and access to services between individual countries and regions significantly inhibit competitiveness and cohesion in South-Eastern Europe. As a rule, market mechanisms are not sufficient to build telecommunications infrastructure in sparsely populated and remote areas. This fact is widely recognized at both European and national decision-making levels. Member States and regions in South-Eastern Europe have adopted strategies to improve virtual accessibility, which requires further work, especially in terms of the definition of clear action plans and measures in the field of implementation. All this is a prerequisite for achieving the goals of broadband connectivity and accessibility of services.

Interreg IVC - TV WEB project (bridging the digital divide in South-Eastern Europe using digital terrestrial television networks)
As part of the TV-WEB project, a complete pilot system for the transmission of multimedia content and Internet services via terrestrial broadcasting (DTT) was developed and tested. The main purpose of the project is to improve the accessibility and availability of audio-video and multimedia services, which include the use of the Internet by end users who are at risk of being excluded from the information society (elderly, disabled, economically weak, residents of remote areas with limited access to Internet services and computer and internet illiterate). The use of ICT technologies and services has a significant impact on sustainable development in society. The project focused on pilot implementations and the involvement of various stakeholders, thus ensuring a broad impact on social and economic development in the South-Eastern European region. In the long term, the project represents a very important contribution to solving the problems related to the digital divide and e-inclusion, and thus contributes to the development of the “region of equal opportunities”.

Interreg IVC - ENGAGE project (High-speed broadband for rural Europe)
The aim of the project is to identify the best practices for the construction and use of broadband infrastructure in less populated areas. The project was selected as one of five projects to be presented at the event marking 25 years of the interregional Interreg programme. The Directorate for Information Society of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports also participated in the project. It was an extremely successful project that achieved concrete results and thus helped all partners to connect more people and companies to a high-speed broadband network in rural and peripheral parts of Europe. With the creation of the ENGAGE platform, the project presented a series of proposals to national, regional administrations and the European Commission. With this, the project contributed to making better and more focused decisions regarding investments in high-speed broadband networks in the involved regions.

Interreg EURO-MED – project GREENERS (GREening the life cycle of Mediterranean organic waste)
The goal is to adopt innovative practices, develop existing solutions and overcome the obstacles of previous European projects. All this with the aroma of green and digital innovation, entrepreneurship and exploitation of the peculiarities of the Mediterranean basin. The project aims to create a connecting link – a mechanism between companies – producers (sources) of organic waste in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry and nutrition (Ho.Re.Ca.) and existing innovative, deeply technological ventures – good practices. Through Blockchain technology, we will create a digital transaction platform (interactive platform, digital library, customized educational material, etc.) that will work according to market rules (“demand” – “sale”), where all interested stakeholders will be connected to each other.

Interreg Danube – Green-Tex project (Enhancing Danube Green Textile and Garment Production and Consumption)
The Green-Tex project aims to strengthen transnational cooperation and innovation in the Danube region in the field of sustainable textile and clothing sectors, thus helping key players in the value chain to become more resilient and competitive in the transition from traditional to more regenerative green textile practices based on a circular economy. Green-Tex will create new sustainable textile solutions throughout the value chain and test them in different environments. The new proven solutions will be based on the principles of the circular economy and will be integrated into the Green-Tex learning and innovation platform. The project uses a multi-sectoral approach involving partners and stakeholders from the textile sector, the waste collection and recycling sector, product design and other sectors.
